Why we started
We got tired of the group chat spreadsheet.
We're sports people first. Over the last few years we watched Phnom Penh's health and wellness scene explode: more run clubs, more events, more new sports, more people showing up. But there was never one place to find any of it. Every club, every venue, every event lived in its own bubble, found one Instagram follow and Telegram group at a time.
We felt it ourselves every week. Booking a badminton court meant messaging the venue, waiting for a reply, paying, then running a Telegram poll to split the bill with friends. Simple sport, complicated logistics.
None of that should get in the way of playing. So we built Kehla to cut the planning down to a few taps and put the focus back where it belongs: enjoy more, get healthier, and grow your community.
We started in Phnom Penh because it's where we live and play, but the chaos we're fixing isn't unique to Cambodia. We're building Kehla to scale anywhere sports people are stuck doing the same thing: follow along as we take it beyond home.
